What business clothes come out of a 14-year-olds closet?

I’m interviewing for a summer office-job and I’m supposed to wear "office" clothes. But I don’t know what to wear. I was told that button-up shirts and skirts are appropriate, but I can’t wear them together. Could I wear a button-up with jeans? Or a t-shirt with a skirt?
What do you wear to work?

When you interview for a job, you want to look as neat and serious as possible. I would not suggest wearing jeans or a t-shirt. Instead, you could wear some nice black or grey pants or a neutral colored skirt, and a collared shirt. The key is to look grown up, and appropriate. Hope I helped!

Most "office attire" means business casual attire, and jeans are NOT on that list. Here are a few options that would work:

Don’t wear jeans if you’re told to dress professionally! I would go with a button up shirt and dress pants, or dressy knit shirt and a skirt.
