In my home town there is only one beauty supply store (owned by koreans). I am not knocking down the Koreans for having their own business but they arent doing a good job at providing customer services. The beauty supply store is catered to mostly black women and they harrass and stalk you throughout the store. Well i was wondering how i can start a small business (beauty supply store catering to women of color with relaxed, natural, etc types of hair. I want my target market to be women of all colors in general. So not only will i want to sell black hair care products and other, but i want to sell top brand products such as Paul Mitchell, Kio, and other products that cater to blond, brunettes, red haired beautiful caucasian women. So basically i want my target market to be WOMEN of ALL races.. I want to sell not only hair products but other things as well as the name says for itself (beauty supply store). Please any suggestions, advice, PLEASE HELP!
I currently do photography and want to start a small business. I’m going to use my mothers old hair salon so I won’t have to rent a place out. I am just lost about the whole paying taxes…since im just starting out I’m only making aprox 30-50 income per client with about a client per week as of now, until I get my studio up and I start up my business…so I’m also wondering how much do I have to pay to taxes and what other financial advice can you give me. I don’t want to get into trouble with the government and want my business to be successful, but.can’t do so until I get some insight on this. Please no rude answers. Thank you! (:
I’m starting my own small business in the summer. I’m a beauty therapist and training to be a hairdresser and I need to make money to pay for college.
I’m gonna do Princess Parties where I go and give mini pamper treatments like:
-manicures
- polish
- make up
- hair dos
- body art
I’m thinking of doing it where I bring a chocolate fountain too?
Should I also do a mini catering part? With just finger food?
