I like to design and make clothes especially formal wear like wedding/bridesmaid and prom dresses and I really want to make my own line but what do I need to do in order to do that and where do I need to live? Do I need to go to New York or LA or what? Plus do you have to get a degree in order to start your own business? I really don’t think I need to go to school since I already know how to design and make my clothes.

I plan on going to FIT so I can be a fashion designer. I want to minor in it so I can take a major in something related to business. They offer entrepreneurship but I don’t know if that’s the correct business route to go. I want to have my own business and brand one day. Is entrepreneurship the right way to go?
