I am filling in for a receptionist at a very laid back office–just answer phones and what not…i was hired through a temp agency and she told me business casual. Well day four now and I feel as though i have been over dressed everyday. Everyone is wearing jeans and a button down shirt–untucked..or shorts even with polo shirts. I dont know if i could just show up tomorrow in nice jeans and a button down shirt tucked in with appropriate shoes?
I have been babysitting/nannying for the past 5 years and have been out of the workforce. I recently started looking for office jobs again to get back into my field. I am used to wearing sneakers, jeans, sweatshirts to work everyday as being a sitter requires comfortable clothes that you can run around in and get messy. I have no professional clothing in my closet what are some key pieces I should buy so that I have a nice looking wardrobe for a more professional setting? Thanks in advance!
need to dress business casual. jeans with a sport coat and button up shirt?
i was just wondering if jeans would be ok to wear to an induction ceremony where the dress is supposed to be business casual. i was thinking about wearing a white button up shirt, sport coat, jeans, and nice shoes. maybe a tie. do you think this is appropriate as business casual?
i was selected for an internship day at a hospital and the dress requirement is business casual. we can’t wear jeans, open toed shoes, shoes with heels, sneakers, or short skirts. what do i wear? i’m 16 btw. thanks
pictures would be nice
How should I dress for this field trip? My college graphic design class is going on a tour at a business?
to show how our work is applied to real life. I was wondering if I should dress up? Black slacks, nice shirt and strappy sandals? Or are jeans ok?
