I have no clue how to start a company or selling my idea and getting my cut from it…..put simply, I have ideas for church accessories…hats, hair bows, table cloths….but dont know what steps to take …I dont draw or sew , so I guess I would have a person to do it…..do I get a sample? where do I get a sample?….so many thoughts dont know what to do. Someone help please! This is a serious inquiry..

For those of you who do not know; babycakes/ diapercakes are non -edible gifts given at a babyshower. They are made of rolled or stacked diapers to look like a cake (Think a 3 tier wedding cake). They also come with misc. baby items such as pacifiers, bibs, socks, toys, bottles, etc.

I’m creating an etsy shop and hopefully having a mini local business. But I need a name. I also make diaper wreaths, washcloth lollipops, washcloth cupcakes, hair bows and head bands so i’m thinking "boutique" or "creations" Here are a few ideas i had:

~Sugar Plum Boutique ( I liked this but.. :( it was taken)
~Baby Love Boutique
~Courtney’s Baby cakes N’ Crafts
~Sugar Bear Boutique (current title, search & like me on facebook :D)
~Sugar Booger Boutique (taken :( )
~Sugar Booger Baby cakes (Too long?)
~Too Sweet Boutique
~Lil Lemon Drop Boutique (or creations, or whatever)

Or any ideas? I can’t choose just baby cakes. It has to be semi original, and not taken. I also like the idea of childhood things tied in the name. Such as sugar plum (remember "visions of sugar plums" and lemon drop reminds me of "over the rainbow"

I already have an idea of what I want to price things at.

is this too much to charge? Personalization for any of these items is {content}.10

I own a business, but I don’t want to use the same name because in my actual store I sell mostly fabric, but I also sell my crafts in the store. But I’m looking into starting an online store as mentioned. What would catch your attention if you where looking to buy hand made crafts? I make purses, boutique children’s clothes, tutus, a lot of things using vinyl, and hair bows. I’m open to all ideas.
