I bought a business suit for a presentation that I have coming up. Here is a picture of it:

It’s kind of plain, and I wanted to add a 32 inch square scarf to it. I am not used to wearing professional business attire, and would like advice on how to wear the scarf with the suit.
Here is a picture of a scarf very similar to the one I plan on wearing:

The only difference is that it is a white base pattern, with more more, tiny, black chanel logos in a random pattern.

Is it just me or is it impossible to list anything on Amazon? First the item HAS to be in their catalog, then if it is certain items they say you have to open a merchant account. I want to sell electronics, beauty creams and furniture but they make it so difficult to understand. Can anyone offer some advice or know where I can get help on foguring out how to get listed? Anyone have any pos/neg feedback from their selling expeirence? I would like to avoid Ebay
Thanks!!

I sell beauty items on eBay. While it is a steady income, there is quite obviously TONS of competition, which drives my price down a lot. However, I would say I can make a steady ,500 per month. Nothing to brag about, I suppose, but enough to get me through college. I live in NYC so ,500 is about standard.

Now, I have saved up ,000 dollars in my savings and want to move on to the next big thing. It has to be something I can sell online because I cannot hold a job. My college program is full time and a half and extremely intense.

What can I invest in? Video games and/or electronics are out of the question because, believe it or not, they are even more competitive than beauty items and I will not make that much.

I was thinking about selling jewelry…diamond rings..but I do not know where to invest wholesale. Or even how to get started.

What other things are there to invest? I sort of like the idea of consumable goods, because this means I can create a customer base.

I am not looking to get rich..but instead of having to sell 300 items per month to make ,500…I would rather sell half or less. Ya know–working efficiently..not overworking yourself. If I can sell 100 of one thing that makes the same..that saves me a lot of headache.

Any ideas? If you have an awesome idea..can you also give me a hint as to how I would get started. I’m a tad clueless.

I’m not talking about auction sites like eBay! I mean the ones that simply calculate the value of the item I’d like to sell and sends me a check after it’s been shipped and recieved.
Some of the things I would like to sell are-
Desktop Computers
Monitors
Electric hair-care products (E.g. Straightening/curling irons)
Electric kitchen appliances
Handheld games (E.g. Gameboy)
Old landline phones
Power tools
Old game consoles (E.g. SuperNintendo)

Im almost 19. I’ll be at University in the fall but living at home. Ive been emotionally and physically abused by my dad for most of my teeange years (no major attacks, just a few bumps bruises as constant belitttling that gets into a little kids head and helps destroy her self worth). I REALLY want to move out. I work 40 hours a week, right now, and during the school year I would work at least 20. I work at the family business..where I’ve worked since I was 11. I started at like an hour, and made all this year. Now I suddenly make (still lesss than the other people who work my position, but nevertheless good money). I save, I dont buy mall clothes or go tan or get my hair done or go on vacation..and yet I never feel like I have any money!
My parents always taught me, if you want something, go pay for it. I bought my own truck when i was 17 with my life’s savings. It only gets 12 mpg. I pay for the maintence on it. I wanted a german shepherd, I payed for her, plus all her vet bills, collars, etc. I have a cat we found, I got him neutered and shots.. I like chickens (raise for 4-H), and a goat, I pay for the animals and equipment.
I dont buy expensive clothes: used stuff on ebay or ross. I buy my own contacts, pay for my own eye exams, buy my own toiletries and pay for my own prescription med ( a month, even though my younger bro uses it).
But i FEEL BROKE constantly. I want out of this place, but how do I do it? I know the second Im out my father will in retaliation turn off my phone (big deal), and cancel car insurance (00 a year–i cant pay it). Rent anywhere that will take a dog is aprox 0 or so a month plus utilities.
HOW DO PEOPLE AFFORD TO MOVE OUT? HOW DID YOU TAKE THAT STEP?
