In my home town there is only one beauty supply store (owned by koreans). I am not knocking down the Koreans for having their own business but they arent doing a good job at providing customer services. The beauty supply store is catered to mostly black women and they harrass and stalk you throughout the store. Well i was wondering how i can start a small business (beauty supply store catering to women of color with relaxed, natural, etc types of hair. I want my target market to be women of all colors in general. So not only will i want to sell black hair care products and other, but i want to sell top brand products such as Paul Mitchell, Kio, and other products that cater to blond, brunettes, red haired beautiful caucasian women. So basically i want my target market to be WOMEN of ALL races.. I want to sell not only hair products but other things as well as the name says for itself (beauty supply store). Please any suggestions, advice, PLEASE HELP!
I am currently looking at some property in AL that i feel is perfect for a beauty supply store that i want to open. I have the money and credit if I need it to. I am planning on leasing some property in a new shopping center in a growing city. There will be a Target, Burger King, Taco Bell, a movie theatre, Ross, TJ Maxx, Publix, and more. Target will open at the last week of June. I just got the lease agreement for a1500+ sq ft area. They want 00/mo. 3 month lease. I am new at this. I have never owned a store front business. How low should I go in a counteroffer so as not to be insulting? Or should I agree to the lease? Who can I talk to about this for more answers?
A beauty supply store carried some high brand-imitation goods. Policemen came and took all of those stuff away. They left a statement named "Involuntary Surrender" listing those surrendered items. Is the value of the goods tax deductible as business loss? The small beauty shop is struggling to make both ends meet.

Sally Beauty Supply store and it ask how much i want to get paid and I have no idea. I want to work on Tuesdays Wed Friday and Saturday for about 3:30-8 pm and Saturday 1pm- 6pm ?? And Im also going to be in High school 11 gr

I have noticed that the beauty supply store owned by Koreans always hire international Korean students and that those students gets paid in cash. However, this is illegal for both parties!! This goes in in just about every beauty supply stores ran by Korean folks. Some stores also have Americans that get paychecks to play it safe from the IRS. I would not be surprised if the IRS came into any Korean owned beauty supply store and asked the Korean cashers some identification. They do not speak English very well.
I am just curious as to why this happens.
