There’s alot more involved than I’m going to explain but heres the short version:

I’ve wanted to cut hair since I was 14, now that I’m in Beauty school, the teachers are making it an awful experience, to the point where I have so much trouble getting out of bed (belittled and demeaned) (they are also no where to be found when I need help with a client)… I had a panic attack this last week thinking of facing them and being ignored when I have a question etc. In texas you have to have 1500 hours, as of right now I have 500hrs. To continue going I also have to come up with ,000 to pay for my daughters daycare and car payment which my boss has generously said she would lend to me. (I am the kind of person that will pay her back). I just am getting stressed from the burden of having to worry about paying her, my 3 yr old daughter, the school, and I also take care of my mother in laws finances due to the fact shes in a nursing home, and my husband and I have no common interests anymore. Should I try to stick it out, or be a stay at home mom and save everyone some money, or other options?

I want a degree of some sort (soon cause I don’t know how my relationship is going)
I’m so stressed, I just don’t know if I can keep going for another 7 months….

any advice please…thank you…

oh and I don’t have any family I could stay with….

I have been going to a beauty school for skin care for a little over 2 months now part time. I was really excited at the beginning but now I am disappointed at the fact we are not getting taught what we are suppose to. Our course has specific calendars that we have to go by daily with what we are to do and be taught and so far there are several things that have been on that calendar that I have no idea what to do. The instructor is never around, we’ve had a student burn the crap out of a clients face and almost every day we are out of one or more kind of supplies or product. I am not the only one that feels this way and I am very frustrated. I have a house and a husband that I have sacrificed my time for to go to school and I feel like I am wasting my time. Can I get my money back and go to another school? Can I sue? HELP!!!!

I will be 29 in October and have a baby and a fiance.I have worked food and retail jobs since I was 18.I have been a manager before as well.I got the idea to go to beauty school at first because I thought maybe it would be something I could do at home, but I realize I want to be in charge of something and not really work for anyone else so I decided I would love to open my own place eventually.I am pretty driven about it and I know success starts in your mind so I am confident. There is a school right by me that offers training in everything including management.Do you think this sounds too far fetched?Has anyone done the same thing later in life?I know lots of people are younger when they do the whole beauty school thing.I would love to hear success stories :)

Since beauty school is 9 months long and the one I am attending is full-time (9 am — 4 pm), I will need to have my own transportation to get there, so having a car is mandatory. I am going to need a job that pays well and can give me enough to be able to pay my car expenses monthly. Does anyone know of any good jobs that will help me do this while attending beauty school?

I am currently employed by a school district part time and even if I were to become full time, I would not be making enough to have a car because I am cntracted, which means a big portion of my check comes out every time. I’m not a teacher either, I’m only 20.
I’m sorry…but I don’t think you really read my question at all. I will need a job that will help me afford a car while I am in beauty school. Which is going to mean evening hours, or anything after 4…although you are right, that WOULD look good on a resume.
