How is the chemical industry right now? Is it profitable to sell processed food or beauty products?

The volatile petroleum prices can’t be good for the chemical industry, but for the time being raw material costs are low.
Processed food and beauty products both probably are alright. Neither are that affected by how the economy is doing.
Restaurants are a pain in the butt and have such a low profit margin.

The chemical industry, i would judge, is just fine…….as polluting as ever……………….any business is potentially profitable: it is a matter of place in point and time………..restaurants are almost surely a bust unless you have a bunch of bucks and a lot of talent………phillipines?……i’d go with the chemical manufacturing
