A friend and i are planning to open a beauty salon together. Shes a makeup artist and im the hairdresser. We want a name that is sophisticated and unusual or not so common. Something sexy and appealing. Even if its in another language but sounds sophisticating.

I have a business formal event I have to attend. Will it be acceptable if I wore slacks and tie? Is a coat needed?

The hair salon around the corner saw dramatically decrease of customers after Holidays.
Now the 2 owners think of offering -25% discounts for special services at certain "dead hours" and distribute the news around through flyers in an effort to get also new customers.

Do you think it will work?

Since the monthly expenses are "running" they think through this discount plan for February they will come into enough cash again.

so i was wondering if i could declare my mani’s and facials and laser and stuff on my tax return?
well it is important to my job who would want to come and get cosmetic treatments off someone who looked like they didnt take care of them selves
